Mary Lindsey Severs, a native Charlottean, was educated at the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. After studying the rich history of architecture and art in London, Mary Lindsey decided to pursue the business side of the arts. She gained experience in the design world at Perkins+Will in Atlanta and Acquisitions in Charlotte, before she began working with Ruard Veltman Architecture in August of 2005.
"I am enchanted by the beauty and impressed by the function of the spaces my colleagues create. I strive to complement their talents by reflecting the uniqueness of their work and acting as a careful steward of the firm. Fascinated by the architectural design process, I also enjoy gaining the client's perspective - from their discovery of the unexpected element in a presentation to the built work. The best days are those when a project comes together amidst the finishing touches."
