"I enjoy constantly learning about how things go together, come apart, perform and interact, both in the built environment and in a more abstract way. Everything is causal, interrelated and connected. The challenge of architecture – simultaneously playing the roles of artist and craftsman, overseer, mediator and advocate – speaks directly to my fascination with how the world works."
